About me

My name is Tamsin and I am a fully qualified & insured DBS checked counsellor, I currently work with clients of all ages.

I have a cozy counselling room which is based in Letchworth Hertfordshire. I work with clients in person as well as online & telephone work all over the UK.

Prior to my role as a counsellor, I gained experience working with children, young people and adults with additional needs, including autism and i collaborated closely with their parents and with schools.

My counselling background includes volunteer counselling at an addiction agency, and at present a volunteer counsellor with the Road Victims Trust providing support to individuals affected by road traffic accidents. Along side my private practice, I am a freelance counsellor at a local agency specialising in counselling children & young people with neurodiversity.

I am passionate about supporting parents of children, young people and adults with additional needs, I have personal and professional experience of how rewarding and hard this role can be. I can offer specialised sessions to parents who may need someone to listen to them in a non-judgemental safe space and tailoring the sessions to what you need.

I am patient and calm and my sessions are client led, and I am guided by what the client wants and needs, my experience with neurodiversity comes from me professionally and personally. I have had extensive training to qualify as a counsellor and continue to learn with continuing professional development (CPD).

What is counselling?

How we would work together

Counselling offers a safe and non-judgmental environment to discuss your emotions, challenges, and issues.

Counselling is a partnership, and as a person-centred counsellor, it's not my role to direct you or offer advice. Instead, I will walk side by side with you on your journey, providing a holistic approach. I strongly believe that everyone's life and needs are unique.

I work with clients face-to-face, as well as online and via telephone from across the UK. I am fully insured and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and I am also registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
